Come join us for Springtime \n\n\n\nVerge Of Madness: Virgil Kelly & David “Mad Dog” Lynch. Imagine a world where classic rock ‘n’ roll tunes are the only thing keeping the fabric of reality from unraveling. That’s where Virgil Kelly and David “Mad Dog” Lynch come in\, tickling the ivories and belting out vocals that could soothe even the angriest of dogs. Their band\, Verge of Madness\, is the last line of defense against a world gone too quiet\, their melodies a beacon of sanity in a silent universe teetering on the brink. So next time you’re feeling a little unhinged\, just remember: there’s a piano riff and a howl away from normalcy\, thanks to the likes of Virgil and Mad Dog. Rock on\, gentlemen\, the cosmos is listening OR The band Verge of Madness seems to be an eclectic mix\, with Virgil Kelly tickling the ivories and crooning away\, while David “Mad Dog” Lynch takes the lead on the mic. With a lineup that blends rock\, blues\, soul\, funk\, R&B\, and pop\, it’s like they’ve got a musical blender set to ‘groovy smoothie’. It’s the kind of band where you might find yourself wearing sunglasses indoors\, nodding your head to the beat\, and pretending you know how to play the air piano. Classic Six members\, each bringing their own flavor to the stage\, create a sound that’s as diverse as a potluck dinner at a United Nations meeting.

SUMMARY:The Sportsman Tavern\, Nothing Noble
DESCRIPTION:The Sportsman Tavern serves great cocktails\, doesn’t accept reservations\, and has bar games. It’s a Sports Bar & Dive Bar with live music. The Sportsman Tavern on Edgar Avenue is no stranger to the Ronceverte community. It opened in the 1930s and remained open until the 1970s\, closing only briefly as it changed hands. In early 2023\, local developers Mark Trent and Dan Withrow led an eight-month community effort to purchase\, gut-renovate\, and reopen The Sportsman. Their goal was to create an inclusive community hub that sparks broader revival in Ronceverte. Floral tributes from local businesses and leaders marked the grand reopening as an actual town celebration.

SUMMARY:Lime Kiln Theater\, Lesington\, VA\, Dan Tyminski Band\, OPener: Garrett Boys
DESCRIPTION:OPENER: Every family has its own unique history\, a timeline fleshed out by memorable characters\, milestone events\, and the stories passed on through the decades that bind it all together. For the Garrett Boys\, a family trio from Overton County in east Tennessee\, their history just happens to lend itself to some excellent Appalachian folk music. \n\n\n\nHEADLINER: Dan Tyminski was six years old when his parents began taking him to fiddle contests\, square dances\, and bluegrass festivals across New England. For a young musician who would later become one of the biggest names in modern-day bluegrass\, those early experiences were life-changing. “Watching live music always spoke to me much louder than sitting in front of my record player\,” he remembers. “I loved it. Wherever music was being played\, I wanted to go watch. Years later\, I still feel that way.” \n\n\n\nLime Kiln Theater is a non-profit organization that enriches the community’s culture by producing and presenting the arts in our unique historic spaces. Attending a show at Lime Kiln is a unique and immersive experience. The natural stone walls\, trees\, and stars overhead blend perfectly with the folk\, roots\, and bluegrass tunes that cast a spell and get toes tapping in our audience every season. Our Bowl venue holds 675 guests on our wooden benches and grassy spaces\, giving you the option to bring your own chairs and blanket and get cozy. Each season\, we host area food trucks and open our doors over an hour before the show begins\, giving you time to catch up with friends over delicious local fare. We also partner with local breweries and wineries to provide a wide assortment of beer\, wine\, and cider. More than just a concert\, attending a show at Lime Kiln Theater is a one-of-a-kind experience\, and one we hope you enjoy over and over again.
