a piece of Lynchburg history. The building has stood on the corner of Main and 11th since 1914, and it spent most of that time as a bank. What that leaves you is a room nobody builds anymore: a main hall under coffered ceilings, arched windows two stories tall, chandeliers, and the original vault door still standing at the back of it. A bar runs along one side. Above it, the mezzanine looks down over the whole floor — a second bar, a carved fireplace, a baby grand, and a view over the rooftops. The decoration is deliberate and the architecture is genuine, which is a combination this city has in very few places and no other place you can rent for an evening.
