Hillsboro Public House, Verge of Madness

The band Verge of Madness seems to be an eclectic mix, with Virgil Kelly tickling the ivories and crooning away, while David “Mad Dog” Lynch takes the lead on the mic. With a lineup that boasts a fusion of rock, blues, soul, funk, R&B, and pop, it’s like they’ve got a musical blender set to ‘groovy smoothie’. It’s the kind of band where you might find yourself wearing sunglasses indoors, nodding your head to the beat, and pretending you know how to play the air piano. Classic Six members, each bringing their own flavor to the stage, creating a sound that’s as diverse as a potluck dinner at a United Nations meeting.

Hillsboro Public House      For the first time in three years, the building near the corner of Seneca Trail and Denmar Road in Hillsboro, is once again abuzz with customers.  Now, owned by Terrell McSweeny and managed by Blair Campbell, it is known as the Hillsboro Public House and has many favorite staples from the past, as well as new dishes on the menu..
