Carnegie Hall – Ivy Terrace, west virginia jazz orchestra

The West Virginia Jazz Orchestra was formed in 2000 by Joe Buttram, Peter Hill, & Gary Williams and quickly selected Jeff Bryant as their music director. The group, made up of 21 performers, plays mostly music from the Big Band era. The band has two vocalists and performs locally for a variety of occasions. The WVJO is a 501c3 organization and is co-sponsored by American Federation of Musicians Local 674 and the Greenbrier Valley Theatre. The West Virginia Jazz Orchestra is committed to service as a charitable, literary, and educational organization serving the Greenbrier Valley and the Allegheny Highlands.
Ivy Terrace at Carnegie Hall: FREE Outdoor Concerts! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and a picnic to our lawn on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, June through August, 6:30-8:00 PM. Enjoy this beautiful setting for a delightful evening of entertainment.
