White Sulphur Springs Library. One of the older libraries in the state, the White Sulphur Springs Public Library opened in the summer of 1912 as a community library in two upstairs rooms on Main Street. Three years later, the White Sulphur Springs Company donated the present site for the growing library, and in 1921 the first library building was erected. After 66 years, a new library building was built on the same site in 1987. The White Sulphur Springs Public Library now serves 5,700 residents in eastern Greenbrier County.
